The SkyWave system consits of satellite communication terminals that use the GPS satellites to acquire position information and Inmarsat satellites to send and receive data; Land Earth Stations (LES) for sending and receiving data to the Inmarsat satellites and a SkyWave Network Operation Center for managing data between satellite terminals and Solution Provider applications.
